What are Management Fees?

Fund management fees are what investors pay to a fund manager or company for handling their investments. These fees cover things like research, trading, and administration.

What is Our Management Fee?

We charge an annual management fee of at most 2% on your investment portfolio.

How Management Fees Work

The fees are calculated and charged daily on your end-of-day portfolio value or investment account balance.

The investment returns displayed on your dashboard are net of fees.

To help you understand how our management fees work, let's look at an example:

If you start with UGX 10,000 at the beginning of the year, and your investment earns a 20% return (UGX 2,000) that year, your ending balance would be UGX 12,000. We calculate fees based on your average balance, which in this case would be UGX 11,000 (the average of your starting and ending balance).

With a 2% annual management fee, you would pay UGX 220 for that year (2% of UGX 11,000), which comes to approximately UGX 18.33 per month.

Note: All management fees are subject to VAT.

Important to Remember

  • Just as we collect fees daily, your investment accrue returns daily as well. y
  • The daily returns on your investments are typically much higher than the daily management fees charged
